Art Farming - Wim Delvoye

Delvoye's somewhat controversial ongoing project of tattooing pigs with a range of iconic motifs dates back to 1997 when the first group were presented in the sculptural Middelheim park in Belgium. Since then tattooed pigs have been presented in a range of different locations with a wide variety of designs and have in particular attracted considerable attention in China. Here the full extent of these projects are documented through a comprehensive range of photographs featuring the works both in progress and in situ.
